Returning to the Port Townsend Inn for Christmas brought back fond memories of my childhood stay with my parents. The cozy motel rooms were clean, comfortable, and surprisingly well-equipped with a microwave and fan, essentials for a pleasant night's rest.Despite its slightly dated appearance, the property was well-maintained, and the lovely view of the sea added to the charm of our stay. The friendly staff, especially Quiana, went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, making recommendations for local attractions and even graciously changing our room to one with a peaceful view.The complimentary breakfast, while simple, offered a decent selection to start our day. With options like pastries, bagels, muffins, and coffee, it was a nice touch before exploring the historic downtown area brimming with unique restaurants and shops.The convenient location off Highway 20 made it easy to explore the delights of Port Townsend, from the annual festivals to the year-round indoor heated pool and hot tub, a delightful bonus after a day of adventures. Free WiFi throughout the property made it easy to stay connected, while the warm and welcoming ambiance made our budget-friendly stay truly memorable.
